West Basin Municipal Water District provides imported water to approximately one million people in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County. West Basin is also a pioneer of water reuse and reclamation, operating the largest reuse treatment plant in the United States. Division 3, which I have the honor to serve, covers the areas of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Lomita, and unincorporated areas of Torrance (Harbor Gateway). I have lived in these communities for the past 36 years. In addition to the cities I represent, West Basin also serves the cities of Hawthorne, Lawndale, Gardena, El Segundo, Culver City, West Hollywood, Malibu, Inglewood, Carson, cities on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and portions of other cities in Los Angeles County.

About West Basin Municipal Water District:
I want to ensure the water is safe, reliable, and affordable for my family, my neighbors, and the communities that I serve. Water is basic to everything. It transcends all cultural, ethnic and political boundaries in our community. The record shows West Basin has accomplished this during the past sixteen years of my service as director. I would like to continue my efforts for the next four years and I need your support.
